Could you tell me about excimer laser?

In laser treatment, it is aimed to bring the target eye level to the order of + / - 0,50. This is achieved with a success rate of 90-95% according to the degree of the eye. If at least 6 months after the first operation is detected in the control, the examination and examinations are repeated.
The thickness of the cornea and the number to be applied are evaluated by Pachymeter, OPD and Pentecam to investigate whether it is suitable for a second laser operation. If appropriate; the laser operation can be performed by removing the old flap again before the first operation information light. There is no harm in repeating this treatment

Excimer laser is used for the treatment of fracture defects and eye surface (corneal) defects. Myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism can be permanently corrected. A thorough examination is necessary, however, only for the convenience of the laser before treatment. The eximer laser has two different applications: PRK and LASIK. LASIK is a newer method and its results are better than PRK. Both techniques can be applied from 18 to 20 years old. Hypermetropia can also be done after 15-16 years of age.

What are the problems after the excimer laser?
Below are the problems associated with laser, but it is important to know that their frequency is very low and that laser surgery is one of the most confident and successful surgeries in sight:

Temporary unrest
Temporary fluctuations in visual blur or visibility
Close reading glasses need after 40 years
(-1.00; +1.00) degrees are missing or over-correction, which can be corrected again by laser
Glare and halt
Especially high night vision disarray
Very rarely, irregular astigmatism
Difficulty in using contact lenses
Corneal scarring especially in myopia greater than 10 in PRK
It's as much as you can see with glasses.
Can I have cataract surgery in the future if I have an excimer laser operation?
Of course you may have laser operation in the future, such as cataracts. It does not prevent operations like

What is Lasek ?
